Linguistics represents a major branch of science. Linguistics, considered to be 'the mother of all sciences', progresses day by day. With the offshoot of new branches and new fields of study such as forensic linguistics, psycholinguistics, neurolinguistics, and so on, the creation of technical terms has become the need of the hour. Apart from the traditional grammatical terms, many technical terms have emerged in the last fifty years. Like all sciences, each term needs to be introduced to technical experts, teachers, researchers, students, and even to layman.
In the age of smartphones and online, all these pieces of information need to be made available at their fingertips. Recognising this practical necessity, this online dictionary has been prepared with the help of the resources available from Kerala University's own fund. Efforts are made to provide the maximum number of words starting in alphabetical order so that the users can easily benefit from it. Translation of maximum English words into Malayalam also has been given.
If a specific word is not available in Malayalam or English, the user has the option to suggest it. Corrections to available definitions may also be suggested. Attempts have already been taken to include the pronunciation of terms and the reading of definitions in the next update of the project. Thanks is due to all those who generously helped, cooperated, and willingly gave expert opinions and excellent suggestions in the completion of this project.

I wish you will release it in Open Source under Creative license so that people can use it at the same time they have to acknowledge/Cite the the resource.
